March musings...

It sure has been awhile...
We've been keeping busy down here. Getting ready for the wedding, and working out...
Well, some of us have been working out. Others have been resting up and looking forward to Spring weather and long walks. Susie learned yesterday that the UPS delivery woman carries MILKBONES in her pockets!! What a wonderful surprise! And since Mom has been ordering so many wedding things lately, Susie is looking forward to many more of these meetings!
We had some excitement in the kitchen last night... unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. I was getting in our pantry, and noticed some... "droppings" on the floor. I said to Bryan, "I think we have a mouse..." followed by a blood-curdling scream. I started clearing out the objects on the floor so I could clean up the intruder's mess when it jumped on my arm and scurried back into the pantry! Again, another blood-curdling scream... It was not a mouse... it was a CHIPMUNK!! It was remarkably cute, but when you're face to face with it, and it's jumping around wildly, it becomes very fearsome! It jumped into a box where our slow-cooker usually sits, and we were able to take it outside to release it. It jumped out of the box suddenly (again, a blood-curdling scream) and ran into the night. One of the neighbors was outside and found the whole ordeal quite amusing. I'll never reach carelessly into the pantry again...
Bryan's interviews went well, and we are both looking forward to moving back to Indiana and being closer to family! Bryan got some video of I-Ry in late February, and I'm just now getting it uploaded
